CITY WALK

                                                 Picture taken from Arab News

The city walk walked into us

At the peripheral windows of our pandora

The bush is pushed beyond the lush

We push the periphery a little more

It is a new dawn, beckoning us, and do we resist? No…

The city walk walks into us

To meetings, we converge but we don’t go,

We cover our beautiful faces, and sit behind the desks

Changing the world from here

It is a new dawn, beckoning us, and do we resist? No…

The city walk walks into us

So, we are not naïve, or dare not enthuse

The peripheries are lately planetary, albeit the bounce rate.

We get to make rounds in the cyber space

It is a new dawn, beckoning us, and do we resist? No…

The city walk walks into us

A click away, you have a humanoid for a lover

A click away, you have your grocery at the door

A click away, you have dollars aller

It is a new dawn, beckoning us, and do we resist? No…

The city walk walks into us

The traffic overwhelms, our generation is busy

Clicking this, clicking that, click..click…

It is a new dawn, beckoning us, and do we resist? No…

Learn and learn and sometimes and fight the demons to stage our cultures abroad

The city walk walks into us

Gifting us blogs, podcast, YouTube and the all the new colonies

Kerning the wireframe, forming new stages and new Shakespeares

And the city walk finds us, right at the periphery, so there are no more peripheries

It is a new dawn, beckoning us, and do we resist? No…
